How low can the MacBook Air go?
The latest entry-level version of the MacBook Air gives you the opportunity to grab an M4-powered laptop for less than $1,000. Amazon’s Black Friday price drops that even further with the 2025 MacBook Air dropping by 25% to $749. That’s the lowest price ever for this model.
The M4 MacBook Air performed well in our testing, especially when it came to battery life. At this price, it’s an even better value for anyone who needs a compact computer that can handle what you throw at it.
A deal that parents can appreciate
Parents who want a way to log their child’s location without having to spring for an iPhone can turn to another Apple device for help. Get the cellular-capable version of the Apple Watch SE and set it up with the Family Setup feature for location tracking capabilities. Your child can also use that cellular connectivity to send texts or place phone calls when they need your help.

Searching for iPhone 17 savings
Since it only arrived in late September, the iPhone 17 won’t see too many discounts, at least not from Apple or other retailers. When a phone is this new, your best bet is to turn to a carrier to find a deal. Verizon has one of the better ones on the entry-level iPhone 17.
Instead of charging you $799 for that phone, Verizon will give you an iPhone 17 for free. All you have to do is sign up for an unlimited data plan and stick with the carrier for 36 months.
We like two things about this offer. First, there’s no trade-in requirement like there is for a similar deal at T-Mobile. Second, Verizon’s Welcome Unlimited plan — the cheapest unlimited option at the carrier — will qualify so you’re taking on a resonable $65/month data plan for your free phone.

The deal applies to the 42mm size in Jet Black or Silver, and if I had to bet, I’d guess once it sells out it’ll be gone for good.

Should you buy refurbished Apple tech?
One of the best — and easiest — ways to save money on Apple devices is to buy refurbished. Normally, I’d be hesitant about buying refurbished tech, but when it comes to Apple, I’m all for it and there are two stores in particular that I recommend.
The Apple Store is great with refurbished Apple tech. I prioritize the Apple Store because they back all of their refurbished devices with the same 1-year warranty you’d get when buying a new device. They’re also great at telling you the condition of the device, whether it has noticeable scratches, etc.
I’m also a fan of Best Buy’s refurbished Apple tech. I purchased one of my old iMacs via Best Buy’s refurbished Apple store and managed to shave a good $300 off. Till this day, that iMac still works. So if you’re looking for Apple deals — going refurbished is a good option.

I’ve gone through dozens of iPhone/Apple Watch chargers. However, lately I’ve been using the HyperJuice 4-in-1 Qi2 Magnetic Stand. I love it because it has nice sturdy base that doesn’t move easily, it can charge multiple items in one shot, and it’s an ultra-fast Qi2 charger.

While we’ve seen the MacBook Air drop in the U.S., there’s good news for U.K. shoppers. You can grab the 256GB SSD 13-inch MacBook Air M4 for 15% off at Amazon, meaning a final price of £849. Much like with the other deals, this is the lowest price we’ve seen so far, and it’s a great value.

Another iPad price drop
A $5 price drop may not seem like something worth calling out. But there’s some significance to the fact the iPad 11 now has a sales price of $274 at Amazon, instead of the $279 we saw earlier. That older price only matched the all-time low we’ve seen on this particular model — $274 is the lowest you’ve ever had to pay for the 128GB version of the tablet.
That 128GB marks a boost in base storage for this model, which also benefits from an upgraded A16 chip. You also appreciate the better battery life, as this new model lasted 11 hours in our test.
