Apple TV Plus is finally coming to Android today

In the Android version of the app, you’ll be able to use features such as offline downloads and saved watchlists, TechCrunch says. Users will be able to subscribe to Apple TV Plus and to MLS Season Pass using Google Play billing, too. But you won’t be able to rent or buy movies and TV shows from the Android app.

Bloomberg reported earlier on Wednesday that Apple planned to launch the Android app. An Apple TV Plus app is already available for Android TV, but this expansion will make the app available on Android phones, too. Apple hasn’t replied to a request for comment from The Verge.

In addition to Apple devices, you can already access Apple TV Plus on many smart TVs and streaming devices. Apple has a full list on its website. An Apple TV Plus subscription currently costs $9.99 per month.

The new Apple TV Plus app joins a few other Apple-made apps available on Android already, including Apple Music, Apple Music Classical, and a Beats app for managing settings on your Beats devices.
