A-List Stars Celebrate at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s Final Wedding Bash

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez are enjoying one more special day with their guests amid an unforgettable wedding week.

PEOPLE confirmed that the Emmy award-winning journalist, 55, tied the knot with the billionaire Amazon founder, 61, on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice, Italy, on Friday, June 27. The nuptials, which were preceded by a star-studded welcome party, are being capped off with a final blowout bash on Saturday night, June 28.

A source told PEOPLE that two of the newlyweds’ friends and favorite musicians, Usher and DJ Cassidy, will perform at the party. “[They’re] going to set the tone. Tonight is all about the music,” the source said of the musical performances. “It’s the culmination, the final big party.”

“First night was dinner, second was the ceremony with Andrea Bocelli’s son performing, and tonight’s the full-on dance floor,” the source added.

Ahead of the soirée, a number of the couple’s celebrity guests were photographed getting into water taxis en route to the venue, including Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Kris Jenner and Brooks Nader.

Just hours after the ceremony, Lauren shared her first wedding photo on Instagram, the account name and bio of which quickly changed to “Lauren Sánchez Bezos.”

About half an hour after her first post, Lauren shared a second post gushing over her wedding dress — a high-necked, hand-appliquéd Italian lace wedding dress designed by Dolce & Gabbana.

“Not just a gown, a piece of poetry. Thank you @dolcegabbana for the magic you made,” Lauren wrote.

In Vogue‘s June 2025 digital cover story, Lauren said that she felt “like a princess” in the gown. She had met with designer Domenico Dolce in New York City more than a year and a half ago to start crafting her dream dress, which was inspired by another celebrity.

She told the outlet her “timeless” dress was based on the high-necked lace wedding dress Sophia Loren wore to marry Cary Grant in the 1958 film Houseboat. 

Jeff and Lauren went public with their relationship in 2019. Four years later, the Blue Origin founder proposed to the former journalist with a 30-carat engagement ring in May 2023. The pair were on vacation in the South of France when the billionaire popped the question, and Lauren was photographed rocking her cushion-cut engagement ring as she spent time with her fiancé on his yacht soon after.

A source previously told PEOPLE that Jeff and Lauren were “on cloud nine — so happy and madly in love” after their engagement news.

Following the engagement, the couple kept their wedding plans private, though they shared bits and pieces here and there. Lauren revealed in a November appearance on the Today show that she had been using Pinterest to figure out what she wants for the ceremony.

“I’m just like every other bride,” she said, adding that she was thinking about her ceremony dress.
