Memphis won’t get to celebrate its win over Dallas for long.

The Grizzlies, who were in control against the Mavs from start to finish, have a first-round date with Oklahoma City.

The Thunder went 4-0 versus the Grizzlies in the regular season. Three of OKC’s four victories were by double digits.

OKC’s last win over Memphis on March 27 was a 21-point triumph in which Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 37 points.

Gilgeous-Alexander had 30+ points in each of his four matchups with the Grizzlies. OKC as a franchise is on a nine-game winning streak versus Memphis.

Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Desmond Bane all need to be at their best to even have a chance of downing OKC, but that might not even be enough if SGA, Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren are the better trio, like they were in the regular season against Memphis.
