Premier League updates: Under-pressure Man Utd host Chelsea

After another exciting midweek in the UEFA Champions League, we are back with more weekend action in the top leagues across Europe.

In the Premier League, Manchester United take on Chelsea in what is always a heavyweight clash despite the respective fortunes of the two teams currently.

Earlier, Liverpool held on to beat Everton 2-1 in the first Merseyside derby of the season and Tottenham Hotspur came back from a 2-0 deficit against Brighton & Hove Albion to seal a 2-2 draw. Elsewhere, Burnley vs. Nottingham Forest finished 1-1, West Ham United lost 2-1 to Crystal Palace, and Wolverhampton Wanderers fell 3-1 to Leeds United.

In LaLiga, Real Madrid defeated Espanyol 2-0, while Harry Kane netted a hat trick for Bayern Munich in a 4-1 win over Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga.
