‘The Housemaid’ Sequel in the Works With Sydney Sweeney Eyeing Return, Paul Feig to Direct

A sequel to ‘The Housemaid’ is now in development that could see Sydney Sweeney return to the franchise. The next film in the franchise will be titled ‘The Housemaid’s Secret’ and based on the second novel in the book trilogy. Sweeney has already signed on to executive produce the sequel, and while there’s no deal yet signed for her to star, studio Lionsgate is understood to be looking for her to reprise her role as Millie.
